NOMINAL SENTENCES

Setelah sebelumnya kita belajar tentang Verbal Sentences (kalimat verbal), sekarang kita akan membahas yang disebut Nominal Sentences. Nominal Sentences juga biasa disebut Non Verbal Sentences. Non Verbal Sentences dibagi menjadi 8 macam dengan setiap 2 tenses memiliki 1 rumus. Let's check it out!

Function : Untuk menyatakan atau menerangkan Noun (kata benda), Adverb (kata keterangan), dan Adjective (kata sifat).

I. Simple Present dan Present Continuous Tense
Formula :

-)S+to be+not+Complement.

e.g.
I am happy.
She is not happy.
Is my father a teacher?

II. Present Perfect dan Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Formula : 
+)S+has/have+been+Complement.

e.g.
I have ever been to Australia.
She hasn't been in living room.
Have they been there?

III. Simple Past dan Past Continuous Tense
Formula :

He was a pilot 2 years ago.
We weren't at home last night.
Was she in the class yesterday?

IV. Past Perfect dan Past Perfect Continuous Tense

I had been a member of scout when I was at Senior High School.
She had been a lecturer when I met 2 weeks ago.
Had you been in hospital?

V. Simple Future dan Future Continuous Tense
